Self Inspection Program

Your local fire department, Kittitas Valley Fire and Rescue, is committed to the safety and security of your local businesses. Taking small, simple measures to ensure a safe environment can enhance the safety of employees and customers. To help accomplish this goal KVFR has implemented a Self-Inspection Program in the 2016 inspection cycle. The program will service businesses that are considered to be low- risk and have little to no history of any safety violations.

Participation in this program allows the redistribution of our inspection staffing to larger, higher risk occupancies, improves the safety of our community and reduces the need for additional staffing. In addition, the inspection can be completed at the convenience of the business owner.
